Our History
Donnie Williams is the founder and owner of To You Marine Services. With over 15 years of experience in the marine industry he carries a wealth of knowledge as a mechanic, marine technician, and licensed captain.
Donnie spent his youth in the waters off North Carolina's coast fishing with his dad and fell in love with the sea. In 2006 he moved to the US Virgin Islands to turn his passion into a career. His first job was as a mate on local charter vessels where he quickly built a reputation as a hard worker.
In 2008 he received his Master Merchant Mariners License and became captain on a custom built 55 foot catamaran sailboat chartering groups to the British Virgin Islands. He was lucky to work some of the most prestigious charters in Saint Thomas.
In 2013 he took a position as head captain, lead mechanic, and manager for Topsails Charters. There he built upon his knowledge and skills as a mechanic and marine technician. Today he continues his love of the sea and services all types of boats in Oak Island, North Carolina and the surrounding areas.
